The entire distance between Arlington and Somerville Tennessee Is a Ticket Trap!!!! (Distance of 10 miles) Tickets include; tail lights, head lights, break lights, turn signals, speeding. All of which force proof of insurance which is extremely high.
Covered 24 hours / 7 days a week w/no exceptions. Court cost is $50. Any speed 12mph and under only pay court cost ($50 no matter what). The judge is strict and states Anything over the speed limit is speeding (example 59 in a 55 is speeding – $50 bucks).
Exiting East of Oakland up to Bell Grove Road
The speed limit in Oakland is 45 mph and held for a reasonable distance to 55 mph But Highway 64 is 65 mph. The speed limit signs were moved to an unreasonable distance to reach 65mph, almost 3 times a reasonable distance exiting east of Oakland until Bell Grove Road. Court cost is $50. Hwy 194 North of Mebane
30 mph speed limit on very hilly portion of Highway 194 running through "downtown" Oakland. They sit off a dirt road and ticket you for anything 3 or more over. Like another user stated Oakland gets all their revenue off of these types.
