Aubrey, Texas Speed Traps

Blind curve, City of Aubrey often shoots radar from old redstone service station. Speed limit is 30mph!

This particular speed trap has been around for years, the grass is even worn were the officer always sits. It’s a fairly busy street but drops to 30 along this particular stretch. On Easter Sunday, the officer was not in his regular spot, he was in the ditch aimed North, however there is no shoulder and his car was half in the street. There was another car coming so I had to almost stop just to get around his speed trap where fortunately he had no one stopped. Always beware going through Aubrey and most small towns in Texas, it’s how the cities make money. Fortunately, I haven’t received any tickets, I’ve learned to watch for him.
