Bonham, Texas Speed Traps

This speed trap is one the nastiest ones I have ever seen, there are many different speed limit changes along this stretch of road. The local Police hide under a shade tree on private property owned by a City Councilman who is buddies with the Chief of Police.

Silo Road post 40 miles per hour, then suddenly drops to 30 miles per hour before you realize it about half mile from
east end of road. Bonham PD sits at the 30 MPH “small”” sign in several areas and catch people before they have time to reduce speed or react. “

Officer and car park in abandoned building parking lot in an area where the speed limit changes from 30 to 35 to 45 in less than 500 yards as you travel east out of town. Artificially inflates speed on citation as judge is only available one day per month and most people can not appear to defend themselves.

on hwy 82 west of bonham to county line highway patrol will get you good so watch out.

Two or three cops in a 2-5 mile radius just sitting on the shoulder of the highway as you are entering the city limits.
