China Grove, Texas Speed Traps

China Grove is a small town outside San Antonio, Texas located on 87 south, apx. 5 miles of 87 is used as a speed trap to collect funds for the city, Police are out 24 hours a day, trying to get anyone they can, no warnings are ever issued, all they care about is the money.

I drive this road almost every day on my way to and from work. It is posted 45. Traffic is very low on this road and is basically a short-cut to get to IH410 or IH10 for those coming from Hwy87. I see cars pulled over numerous times a week and when I don’t see someone pulled over I often see a deputy patrolling. Watch your speed very carefully when on this road!
