Clear Lake, Texas Speed Traps

There is a trap a little past the Boeing building or a little before depends on which way you’re going. They either sit in the median or off to the side at a pump station or water facility or both. On one side it will be a constable and the other it will be HPD. The speed limit is set for 40mph and I see no reason for it because there is nothing out there but road. In my opinion it at least needs to be 50mph. So watch out because they take no mercy.

Its a long strait divided highway. 2 Lanes in each direction. Speed Limit is 40 when 55 is safe. They will sit in the median on either end of the straight watching for cars entering the straight away. They will also sit behind the small concrete building close to Allen genoa.

There is a cop that will sit in the parking lot where the offices are at the corner of El Camino & Clear Lake City Blvd by the Blockbuster. I have noticed them there several times especially during the night. Also is a cop sitting into the entrance of Slyvan Rodriguez Park on a few occasions as well as the street next to the Subway.

A woman SUV cop will hangout in the turnaround section of middlebrook. Very unforgiving. Ticket certain. Speed limit is 40mph. Easy to do 55mph because of long straight open roads with little traffic.

Watch the Buck’s Pizza parking lot on El Dorado Blvd near El Camino Real. Cops will stand just off of the road with their radars and direct speeders into the parking lot. This is an area with frequent school zones so pay attention.
