Colleyville, Texas Speed Traps
Intersection of Pool and Hall Johnson
Be careful driving on Hall Johnson…speed limit drops from 35 to 30 at Pool going towards state highway 26
Glade Rd. and Bransford Rd
School zone begins apx. 50 feet west of the Glade – Bransford intersection.
My 82 year old mother was slowing down to stop at the 4 way stop sign, the officer said he clocked her doing 30 in a 20. She had no idea where he was hiding but he stopped her in the vacant grocery store parking lot. He may possible sit in the dare care or school parking areas.
Same as shown, but are also DUI traps!
Have lived in Colleyville for 13 years. In the last 3 months, Colleyville has had more DUIs weekly than Grapevine and Southlake combined and those cities have many, many more eating and drinking establishments than Colleyville. Have the citizens of Colleyville suddently become a bunch or drunkards or is there a connection between the DUIs and the new police chief . . . and they wonder why no one wants to patronize Colleyville businesses! The speed traps listed are the same places listed for the DUIs in the newspaper.
Glade Road from Grapevine Hwy going toward Hwy 121
Starting on Glade Road from Grapevine Hwy 26 going toward 121 the speed limit is 35 and I got ticketed at 49 mph and do not know where the police was hiding out but it happened about 1 mile from 121. I was speeding but it is very easy to want to go faster on that long stretch of 35 mph the whole way. Heads up!
On Hall Johnson near the intersection of Hwy 26
There is often a police officer sitting by the old fire station, tucked away where he is not easily visible. He gets alot of people who go by, because the speed limit is an unnaturally low 30 mph for this 4 lane road.
