Deer Park, Texas Speed Traps
P Street near Dow Circle
Its 30 mph on P st, cops always sit in the parking lot of the ball fields.
Pasadena Blvd. between Luella and Center
The police sit at the firestation and get you coming and going. If your car is a little loud, you will get another ticket. Avoid this street if possible.
East P Street
P street between Luella and Park Shadow, officers are doing a great job. Too many people think it is 40 mph or higher and it is somtimes a drag strip. I wish they were here every day.
The Entire Town of Deer Park is a Speed Trap!
How else are they going to pay for their ginormous gleaming police palace?
Take my word for it – I delivered pizza for 3 years in Deer Park and can attest to the hypervigilance of DP’s finest. The speed limit on the major streets (P, X, San Augustine, Pasadena Blvd) changes randomly for no good reason save revenue enhancement and the speed limit on All residential streets is 20 mph. (In case any of you are wondering, no I did Not speed whilst transporting greasy cheesy prefab comestibles to the masses, as I couldn’t afford a ticket.) My advice – stay out of Deer Park!
Railroad St & Georgia Ave
Lots of times a cop will be on the feeder right before the Hwy. 225 onramp catching speeders. This is right after Center Street headed toward Pasadena.
