Denver City, Texas Speed Traps

The state troopers and the county deputies in this corrupt little place have very little to do , other than harass passers through. They will get you for 3 mph over the posted limit on any highway and they will do every thing they can to try to hold you and impound your vehicle. They really try to kill your pocket book in this nightmare of a west Texas county. If you’re passing through Yoakum County Texas, drive the posted speed limit and get somewhere else asap!
