Speed limit drops from 75 to 65 between these two mile-markers for no apparent reason, especially eastbound. The east end is near base of Ranger Hill, but west end several miles away. I Haven’t noticed significant extra enforcement, though I’m not a frequent driver of this area; but you need to be watching for this! Starts w/a 65 sign with a red frame.

Highway 2214 just south of Lake Leon bridge

DPS has vehicle pulled over at 11:12 am
At the south end of the Lake Leon bridge.
TxDOT has changed speed limit from
70 to 60 for a short distance by the lake.

State Highway I-20 near Exit Number 343

DPS Troopers are based in Eastland and there are alot of them. I have heard as many as 10 live there. They are constantly between Cisco Ranger and Eastland.
