Beach Street near E. 1st Street
As you go N from I-30 the 40mph speed limit suddenly drops to 35mph right before 1st Street (first light N of I-30). Motorcycle cops hide behind the fence to the right (in front of the auto shop garage) and tag cars with their lasers pulling them over on foot. Most prevalent in the morning.
N 820 Loop near N Main/287 Street
Fort Worth patrol unit sits on east bound shoulder and shoots radar on east bound traffic in the mornings, sits on west bound shoulder shooting radar on west bound traffic in the afternoon. There is a slight hill approaching the Blue Mound exit east bound and he knows exactly where to park,you won’t see him until it’s to late.
University Drive near White Settlement Road
While heading south on University Drive approximately 1/8 mile north of White Settlement Road, Motorcycle Cop radars all morning waving people over just in front of (east) cemetery after they come over the bridge. He is there at least 2-3 times a week. Beware, even if already has someone, he occasionally has a partner.
US Highway I-20 near 820 Loop
Officer Matt Poston sits on the South side near the Starbucks with radar. Drive with caution!
Randol Mill Road near Precinct Line Road
The 8100 Block of Randol Mill Road between Precinct Line and John T White is a country road with a 30mph speed limit for no reason. There are no residences adjoining the roadway within 100 feet of each other as specified in Texas law for 30mph speed limits. Fort Worth Police work radar / laser in the morning rush hours several times per month with one to two units racking up tickets.
