Gorman, Texas Speed Traps

Traveling South on Hwy 6 into Gorman, speed limit sign before curve. Make sure you have slowed down to 55mph before making curve because the local cop is often sitting there under a tree waiting on you as soon as you come out of the curve. Speed limit then drops quickly to 45mph.

They sit in the roadside ditch as you approach the city limits heading east, you come around a curve to the right, and the speed drops sharply.

Hwy 6 S. going in to Gorman from Eastland I-20, is the worst they sit in the ditch and wait til you round the curve not known the speed limit signs there til its too late they write many tickets and give few warnings.
