Denton sheriff hides off the road in the dark between bush-like trees without any lights on. I have been a victim and seen him there several times at 6 am.

FM 2499 is monitored heavily from Swisher Rd to 407. I see officers running radar as early as 530 am. the road is patrolled by Corinth and Highland Village officers. They park on the opposite side of the road in the entrance to the turning lanes (I don’t think this is very safe) and run radar. The speed limit changes along the road so be mindful of that.

School zones are constantly patrolled. Do not travel in excess of posted speed limit. EVER!!

The police department bought a new black police car about a year ago and obviously decided they needed to pay for it in the first year, so it sets up all over the area.

The police hide behind pedestrian cars and will catch you as soon as you come around the corner.
