Huffman, Texas Speed Traps
FM 2100 and Kingwood Dr. in the Commons
State troopers and constables sit in the large grass area parallel with Kingwood Dr. and perpendicular to 2100. Vehicles that are traveling south are worse of than vehicles traveling north. Either way, by the time any driver finds the cop, it’s usually to late. The speed limit is 45 MPH, but most travel 55-60 MPH.
Watch yourself there. Sometimes they will disappear for a while and show up all of a sudden and bust you.
Havard just off of 2100
This is a residential area… the speed limit is 35 and it is lightly traveled and easy to speed… and most all do… residents report it and is frequently patroled .. they hide on roads that are entering onto Havard among heavily wooded spots. And sometimes are pulled in beside the M & S Express close to the trees going in you see him right away but coming out you don’t.
