Hurst, Texas Speed Traps
121 North & HWY 10
You exit off of 121 Airport Frwy. to access Hwy 10. Immediately after coming off the freeway you enter a 35mph zone. Multiple squad cars setting at the corner of the road pulling people over right and left. Big money maker because you may be travelling 65 in a 35.
820 access road next ti NE Mall
This is not a speed trap but a construction trap. They got me going straight out of a left lane b/c the construction would have sent me to the 820. Apparently, they get a lot here because another mom at my very own school got the same one a week earlier and we live 10 miles away. Do not go to HURST or the NE MALL
183/Airport Frwy
183 westbound, cop sits on the Hurstview overpass with a radar gun clocking speeders. Multiple patrol cars lined up on the shoulder waiting to go after targeted speeders. I’m sure this speed trap generates some serious income for the city.
121/820 split
Lately, officers have been sitting on SH 10 overpass gunning southbound drivers on 121/820. SH 10 has a ramp to BOTH highways so when they catch one, they jump in their car and are on their tail in seconds. It’s pretty clever because no one ever thinks to look UP for cops and that’s exactly where they are.
Precinct Line west on West Bedford Euless Rd
Wide-open, six-lane road heading downhill toward NE Mall. Cops hangout near the hill to catch you picking up speed as you roll down. Roads look like major thoroughfares but speed limit only 35 mph around there (Precinct Line, W. Bedford Euless).
