Be Safe my friends!
Highway 29 from Hwy 183 Intersection, West (5 miles)
Liberty Hill Police, Williamson County Sherrif and DPS will each rotate daily along the 5 mile stretch of Hwy 29 through Liberty Hill, from HWY 183 intersection (Seward Junction), west towards Burnet, to the city limits on the west side of town. Mostly LH police, who will hide themselves behind low tree limbs, signs, and by other obscure means. At night, they are completely blacked-out; no lights. – This is continuous all day, every day. Set your cruise control to 55 anytime you get close to Liberty Hill.
Hwy 29, west of 183
The entrance to the concrete facility has a high wall, just enough to hide a cruiser.
On Hwy. 29 east of Hwy. 183
There is a skateboard facility on the south side of 29 just past Margarita’s restaurant on the north. A patrol car routinely sits in the parking lot of this facility with its radar pointing west. It’s hard to see the patrol car if you are focusing on the road. You have to be looking directly at the skateboard facility parking lot to see it.

the posted speed limit for SH29 all the way through Liberty Hill is 55mph. Local law enforcement will ticket you for 56mph. i know because i got one. the trap is most prevalent when entering Liberty Hill from the west. the speed limit sign that designates where the 55 mph zone begins is almost completely obstructed from view by some large tree branches and scrub. there is an old cemetary about 100 yards past that on the south side where law enforcement waits. this is where they got me. my advice is to pay close attention to the speed limits anywhere in Liberty Hill.
