Lindale, Texas Speed Traps

The officer claimed he clocked me at 87 and gave a ticket for 85. I was not speeding and was surrounded by vehicles going the speed limit.

Lindale is just north of Tyler on US 69 witch is the main street through Lindale. The speed limit drops from 70 to 60 to 50 to 40 to 30 in the center of town and increases out of town in the reverse order. The city cop that got me was hiding behind a sign in a driveway right next to the 50 mph sign and shooting his radar back into the 40 mph zone catching you as you could see the 50 mph sign and start to pick up speed but are still by law in a 40 mph zone. They can do this at multiple spots through town.
