Lucas, Texas Speed Traps

Travelling westbound from the Lake Lavon area, the speed limit is 60. Suddenly, as you approach Winningkoff Rd. which will be to your right, the speed limit drops to 45. There sometimes will be a State Trooper sitting about 1/4 mi. (if not closer) facing eastbound, and using radar. He knows exactly where the speed limit drops and will tell you so. You don’t have time to slow down. Luckily I got a warning.
