Lytle, Texas Speed Traps

I received a ticket for driving 5 miles over the speeding limit. I went to my court appearance and was given community service. Did 6 hours at their City Waste Dpt. Spent hours shoveling human waste. Got very sick the next day. Was not given any credit hours because I did not complete my total community hours. Shortly after I had an Warrant for almost $300 more dollars. I would like to warn drivers to drive very slow on that part of Highway I35. Now the court does not want to work with me and I now owe $460. I’ll never stop in that town again!!!

The city of Lytle is plagued with ticket happy cops. Unless you have a Lytle Pirates sticker on your car you are not safe. I was pulled over for not having a seatbelt on when I clearly was wearing it. I got the ticket dismissed. I was also pulled over for my rental car not having an up to date inpsection sticker… it wasn’t even my car!
