Mont Belvieu, Texas Speed Traps

Texas Department of Public Safety standard patrol officer stationed primarily eastbound usually hiding on east side of overpass near service ramp or close to Garth Road. Car is marked Late model Crown Victoria PI with standard black and white DPS decals. Officer is polite, but firm. Limit was 55 throughout chambers county, but due to driver outrage raised to 65. WARNING! is 55 at certain locations still.

This stretch is heavily enforced by state troopers and Chambers County Sherrifs Dept. The troopers do mostly radar stops and the deputies seem to do mostly drug profile stops looking for lucritive vehicle and cash siezures.
