Nacogdoches, Texas Speed Traps
South Street on US Hwy 59 before reaching the overpass.
On highway 59 when you are coming from Lufkin to Nacogdoches on US Hwy 59, the speed limit drops from 70 to 60 to 50 in a short period of time as you get closer to the overpass in Nacogdoches, TX. They like to sit right below the hills before people usually slow down. I have received 2 speeding tickets in my life spaced 14 years apart and both were in that area. The police located there do not give warnings. They really love the holidays. My first ticket was near Labor Day and my second ticket was 2 days before Christmas. They did not even get my speed correct on the second ticket. I was driving a Chevy Aveo and was perhaps going 60. They claimed that I was going 65. Just be aware that the speed drops to 50 and go ahead and get to 50 as soon as possible.

Not Sure exactly where, but anywhere from 1 mile to 5 miles out this road from the loop in Nacogdoches troopers sit to bust people doing just a couple of miles over the speed limit of 55. Be ware. I have seen them have people pulled over at many spots on this road.
Hwy 21
State Troopers set on the side of hwy 21 in the Chireno city limits. The speed limit changes to 55mph. I have seen them stop 16 cars in an hour on a slow day.
