Palo Pinto County, Texas Speed Traps

When they rebuilt this section of Hwy 16 adding shoulders they didn’t raise the speed limit to 70 mph like most other rural Texas roads with shoulders. People travel down this road to get to Possum Kingdom Lake and don’t pay attention to the 60 mph sign because it is such a good road. I have even seen a constable from Strawn up here giving tickets. It is an easy way to raise revenues.
