Highway 70 North of Loop 171 intersection
Highway 70 going north out of Pampa, speed limit stays 55 mph for several miles after the Loop 171 intersection. There are several good hiding places in the big draw for the highway patrol to get unsuspecting speeders going 56 mph!

Going south speed limit changes from 50 mph to 40 at Gwendolyn St., then back to 45 1/4 mile later. Trooper sits in the ditch just over a small draw where you can’t see him untill its too late! He gets a lot of business!
