Saginaw, Texas Speed Traps
Saginaw- east/west bound 820 near Saginaw exits
Nearly every weekday (sometimes on weekends, and at night too) I travel to work in the early afternoon I see Ft. Worth Police with someone pulled over here on 820w. The same officer stands outside his cruiser laser in hand right over the hill (820 west bound) past the Saginaw north bound exit, and on the other side of 820w at the Main Street south exit (heading to the Stockyards). The Fort Worth police have a nice cash cow going here. They hide with their lights off if it’s dark, and they don’t cut you any slack. They have nailed me 3 times in 6 years. 60MPH here is for the birds.
Saginaw Boulevard near McElroy Street
Saginaw police have both marked and unmarked SUV police vehicles and monitor the traffic light at Saginaw Bldv and McElroy. Traffic light has less than 3 second yellow. Tickets are frequently written for “running a red light”” from any direction at this intersection.”
Saginaw Boulevard near McElroy Street
Saginaw (North Fort Worth, TX) police will hide behind parked cars, signs and low lying areas and in parking lots.
Very agressive in all parts of the city. Very sneaky about concealing themselves behind obstacles. Migrate to different locations. Saginaw blvd has very quick changing yellow light which are monitored agressively also. Off streets are 20 MPH in city limits.

Saginaw is one of the worst speed traps I have had the displeasure of going through. I was going 45mph in a 40mph zone I knew I was speeding a little so I let off the gas a bit too late. He didn’t ask if I had a reason just handed me a ticket. I live near this area and my girlfriend lives in Saginaw, she has been pulled over more than anyone I know and has never recieved a ticket. I have heard from many of the women that live there and none have recieved tickets. So if you’re a man drive 5mph under the speed limit.
