West of town, just past the high school, there is an old spur line on the north side. The road angles back, it is impossible to see them headed west-bound. Coming east-bound they can park far enough back and it is very difficult to notice them even in the daytime.
Front Street near Main Street
They wait just where the road become wider, near the apartments. I usually see them at night, but, I have seen them there are other times of day. It is close to the station, so, anywhere between this location and the station you should really just slow down unless you’re feelin lucky haha.

A city police car is running up and down about a 5-mile stretch of I10, cutting across the median to make U-turns, and reentering the 70 mph traffic, causing concern for people as they are coming up on him, especially at night, but also during the day. usually a Trooper or a Sealy officer parked in the parking lot of the only lumber yard on Hwy 36 just past the RR tracks coming from Interstate 10.
