Shenandoah, Texas Speed Traps
Interstate 45 between Tamina Rd. and State Hwy 242 feeder ro
Shenandoah PD..Montgomery County Sheriffs Det. and Texas Dept. Of Public Safety run a massive speed trap in all directions both along the the feeders (Shenandoah)
and the main lanes of Interstate 45…The City Of Shenandoah hires a “visiting” judge to appear weekly at City Hall to adjudicate nothing but traffic citations handed out by these agencies…This is a massive organized speed trap that been operating at least 10 years.
US Highway I-45 near US Highway I-45
I have lived off of Rayford Rd,/Sawdust since 1970 and have put up with Chateau Ridge officers and Oak Ridge, but Shenandoah is definately a speed trap. They are everywhere, Its funny that such a small incorporated town can effect so many people.
Interstate 45 near Woodlands Parkway
North and Soutbound lanes, just North of the Woodlands Parkway exit, I travel this Interstate at all hours on all days of the week, I have seen Constables, State Troopers, Montgomery County Sherrifs, Oak Ridge North Police, and most importantly, Shenandoah Police. I have been stopped myself for 3-4 miles over the posted 65MPH in this area but fortunately have not received at ticket, however ALL the people I work with that have been stooped there have revceived tickets.
Interstate IH 45
Introducing . . . Shenandoah PD and their new Dodge Charges. You may get the chance to see one in your mirror, HEMI included, when you get stopped.
I-45 service road
This tiny Montgomery County suburb of Houston loves to write tickets if you come through their city and you are speeding. They’ll get you on I-45 and love to get you on the feeder road. Beware between State Highway 242 and Research Forest Road. Shiny dark blue Camaros are in their fleet as well as more traditional (dark blue) vehicles.
