Silsbee, Texas Speed Traps

I have been pulled over by an officer as well as flagged down by a different officer on this road. I live down this street so i travel it frequently. Its not every day that you will see officers but when you do check the speedometer, because this road is 30mph, and it is very tempting not to speed on down it with the long straight-a-way and smooth black top.

Between Cooks Rd. and Catfish Village in front of the new Nissan dealership. Every night that sit at the crossover so they can catch people coming from both directions. It’s hard to see them but they are always there.

When leaving the city going south, after the last light, it is very tempting to speed up to get on out of town. Only problem is the speed limit stays 45 for a while and if you speed you better be a sweet talker.

They position themselves in the old Silsbee Hospital Parking lot, or near the Elementary school area, right on Hwy 418, especially after dark. Here the speed signs change rapidly and are very stricly Enforced.
