Aldine-Westfield Road near FM 1960
Be careful for constables & Sherrif’s deputies on Sunday mornings in the vicinity of Aldine-Westfield & FM 1960. There are many churches along Aldine-Westfield, and officers are waiting for families hurrying to church when traffic is light & the 4 lane boulevards are conducive to driving over the posted 45 mph limit.
FM 1960 near Cypresswood Drive
FM 1960 between Aldine Westfield and Cypresswood is about 5 miles of 7 lane roadway that is straight. The posted limit is 50mph and it is patrolled by numerous PCT 4 Constables both east and westbound. They tag team by having a hidden patrol car in a driveway run the radar and another stop the vehicle.
FM 2920 near Interstate 45
The speed limit is 40 mph heading west on FM 2920 and right after the Race Trac gas station there is a cruiser with a radar waiting for speeders…trust me it is very easy to get over 40 after coming off of I 45 onto Fm 2920…WATCH OUT!
Cyrpesswood Road near FM 1960
North of 1960 the speed goes to 45 MPH then drops to 35 over the empty streach past the golf course and over the river bottom. Sherrif and constable officers park near the entrance of the gulf course or in the blind spot of the curve near the river to get speeders (everyone).
