The Woodlands, Texas Speed Traps
Gosling Road near Panther Creek Post Office
On Gosling approx 1 mile south of the post office & approx 1.5 miles north of the post office, sheriffs hidden on the side of the road & no radar detected. WATCH that 35 MPH LIMIT!
Woodlands Parkway near Forrestgate Drive
This is not nessicarily a speed trap is much as it is a stop sign runner trap. The stop sign at Forestgate and woodlands parkway is a sign that is frequently rolled through and I have seen a sheriff sitting there on more than one occasion, and got a ticket for it another time. Watch out, they will get you for the sligtist roll, come to a complete stop!
GlenLoch Street near S. Panther Creek Street
A dark colored constable car parks between the lanes on GlenLoch hidden by foliage across from McCullough High School at the intersection of S. Panther Creek & GlenLoch. Radar is usually not detected. This is a moderately busy thoroughfare with a 25 MPH speed limit. Cars turning from S. Panther Creek and cars approaching on GlenLoch are at risk. Dark colored Constable mobile units and white colored Sheriff’s mobile units are also common in this vicinity.
Interstate 45 North near Near Research Forest Exit
I see someone pulled over 2-3 times a week between 7-8 AM.
They are on the Northbound lanes and sometimes on the feeder street. Watch out!
Small Bridge Road near North Shore exit Crossing
After you get over the apex of the bridge over Lake Woodlands, a police officer will be on the other side waiting for you… usually on the Northshore Park side. They are cleverly hidden behind the trees off the shoulder.
