Trophy Club, Texas Speed Traps
Hwy 114 at Kirkwood Drive
Motorcycle cops set on top the Kirkwood Drive bridge clocking west-bound traffic on Hwy 114 several times a week. 65 mph speed zone and they constantly stop speeders one after another. Today is 2/2/2012 and they are racking up the tickets non-stop. I’m watching them from my hotel room and their harley’s are a continuous rumble.
SH 114 east of Trophy Club
Watch for Keller police acting on behalf of Westlake sitting at the bottom of the on-ramp where 114 becomes a freeway. You will see the speed sign with says "65," but you will be ticketed for going over 50 (the speed limit on the frontage road) if you haven’t passed the sign yet. I was.
Inside the Trophy Club City Limits
Too many cops, and nothing to do. 30MPH throughout the neighborhood– doing 34?? Ticket, not doing a full stop– Ticket– Watch out for Officer [Name Removed] after 12 Midnight– Trophy Wood and Indian Creek — He stops everyone– for anything looking for DUIs.
State Highway 114
The area of 114 around Trophy Club is heavily patrolled by various police (on bikes, marked cars, unmarked cars). Now that new construction has started on 114, the limit has been reduced to 40MPH. They will pull you and ticket you for doing 45MPH. Saw 3 cars pulled by 3 different officers this morning at around 09h00
