Von Ormy, Texas Speed Traps

If you will notice that if your going on IH 35 South bound that the speed limit is 70 MPH as soon as you get to the Shell I think there is a sighn to the rt. side that looks like a constructions sign, but it is rectangular in shape with a squiggly arrow and the sign says 60 mph and that is all the way until you get to Somerset. Be very Careful as there is almost always a Bexar County Sheriff or a Von Ormy Marshall. Please be aware that these “Marhalls” are a new Law Enforcement agency that was brough in to protect and serve, but also to bring revenue to the city so they are ready for you. That is definently a trap. I thing they need to put up a sign (black and white) that clearly states that the speed limit has changed from 70 mph to all of a sudden 60 mph that’s how they get you. I am thinking about getting the media involved.

This stretch of Fischer Rd from I-35 to Somerset Rd is only 35 MPH. I pass by 2 times a day, and almost always a Bexar County stealth patrol in writing a ticket. Very Hard to drive 35mph. Speed trap for sure!

Afew miles south off 410 there is a school on the right side of Highway. There is always a cop of some sort there.
