All I-20 Waskom TX locations. No tolerance over speed limits. Located just past LA state line. Heafty fines for their city. Handing out tickets on Christmas Day.

Cop sitting at 50 mph speed limit sign east of town. I was stopped for going 56 in a 40 zone. $220. I admitted to the speed but told him we were searching for our 91yr old aunt missing from Shreveport for 4 hrs. We were searching along Hwy 80, the only route to our house near Waskom. He did not reply at all. I asked if he knew of any accidents nearby. His reply was ” no, but you were going to have one going 56 mph!” She was found 11 hrs later 65 miles from home, confused, but safe. Thanks to 5 agencies, NOT Waskom. I was going to complain about lack of assistance, but the cop was the Asst. Chief!

I WAS GOING 92MPH AND RECEIVED A $1,650.00 FINE. WOW

Under the middle overpass will be Waskom Police checking false speed. 78 in a 70. 170$. That’s crazy! They sit 24/7/365! My dad was going 76 and got a 180$ fine. Ya if you go slower the higher it gets!!!!
