Rodgers Road @ the Ball Park
They sit by the ball park and run radar just about every day. Remember you don’t have to be breaking any traffic laws to get a ticket in Willis. Stay way below the speed limit.
Calvary Road located two miles north of Willis west of I-45
Has several small hills and speed limit is 45mph…is patrolled by constables who live in the area as well as Highway patrol troopers who also live in the area…occasional sheriff’s vehicle appears also…The road is so rough it is not advisable to drive more than 45MPH anyway.
@IH45 and HW 1097 Knoll of hill
The City of Willis sits on top of a hill at the crossroads of HW 1097 (East and West) and IH 45 ( runs North and South) .
Troopers sit on either side IH 45 and catch speeders as they come into
line of sight. It is an excellent ambush for the expected driver.
