Draper, Utah Speed Traps

Usually late at night or afternoons. Hides behind dumpster going south, or near the road looking towards the south entrance of Juan Diego Catholic High School.

The cop will sit in the parking lot of the complex with Platos Closet (Factory Outlet Dr.) in it. He will get you when you approach the small S type curve by the Wendy’s. I always see people pulled over there and I have seen where they sit. Do not try and haul down that road, they aren’t always there, but when they are they get a lot of tickets.

Draper PD can be found anywhere near the top of the hill; usually parked in one of the business parks. This is a daily routine for them – morning, noon, and evenings. The posted limit is 35; however, most try to push 45 and regret it.

Around turns and bottom of hills. Speed limit has been reduced from 35 to 30 mph. (Should be 40 mph)

Cruising speed trap in both directions, and some stationary traps on the side around turns.
