Craigsville, Virginia Speed Traps

Police lie in wait out of sight-line as highway changes from 55 to 35 as it enters town from northeast approach. Preferred times are mornings catching those traveling to Homestead or Snowshoe.

Speed trap is located on Rt 42 just as the road begins to dip into Craigsville heading south. The road changes speedlimit at this point but is poorly marked. Two friends were caught at separate trips, both early in the morning, both near the end of the month.
