Police cars are usually parked in the entrance of Holiday Inn Route 13 Southbound lane, can’t see them until after laser gets you. Now, stop lights on Route 13 in Exmore are fitted with cameras for motorists going thru red light. Don’t usually see the tripod laser in the Northbound lane much anymore, although in summer weather they may be back, but sometimes they have a car there now to catch the Northbound drivers coming around the bend in Rte. 13. Exmore is making much money from traffic fines, buying more cars and hiring more officers to increase money from this speed trap.

Posted seed limit is 55. Highway 13 bypasses Town of Exmore, but speed limit drops from 55 to 45. If you are driving at 55, gotcha!
Rt13 by Holiday Inn
Speed drops to 45mph in Exmore, the next 50 miles the sed limit if 50mph or more. They were running Radar both ways both days with two traps the second day when we traveled thru. Town only has 5 police officers is only .8 sq miles with 1,400 residents. According to their website they estimate $405,000 of the towns $1,667,000 total revenue (including all property taxes) will be from police fines. Almost 25% of the total revenue is generated from tickets from the 5 officers they list on the website.
