Fairfax, Virginia Speed Traps
Guinea Road and Argonne Drive
As drivers go southbound on Guinea Road from Little River Turnpike (Hwy 236) toward Braddock Road you enter a long straightaway inclined downhill toward the public park at the bottom. At the bottom near Argonne Drive motor officers stand at the bottom at edge of the road and in the roadway with long-range hand-held radar guns.
Random Hills Road near tree line next to I-66
There is a motorcycle cop hiding behind a tree with his motorcycle just after the cinema at Fairfax Corner, you wont be able to see him on the left , because his bike is behind some green utility box….they tend to have either a police car or motorcycle hidden on this road near Fairfax Corner
N Williamsburb Blvd between Kensington and Old Dominion
It’s a 25 mph zone, because, although it’s not exactly residential, it’s right across the street from Williamsburg Middle School. Makes sense during the school year, but during the summer this area is absolutely dead and people fly down it. Motorcycle cops have been sitting off to the side with radar the past few days. Saw some guy get pulled this morning.
Dulles Toll Road
You can always find numerous Airport and County Cops running radar and laser both east and west bound. They like to hide behind the jersey barriers along the Access Highway and at the Main Toll Plaza. They even got a Washington Redskin doing 92 MPH (Washington Post).
Guinea Road and Olley Lane (almost to Braddock Road)
As you’re going north on Guinea Road just before the Braddock Road intersection, you come over a hill. At the bottom of the hill are officers with radar.
