State Police hide in the parking lot at Jame’s Store, usually after dark, common on the weekends. There has been increasing enforcement by state police along Rt. 14 over the past couple of years.
State Highway 17 near State Route 14
Route 17 from Adner to Saluda. The State Police and Gloucester County Sheriffs Department are constantly sitting in the median strips on that 8-12 mile stretch.
George Washington Memorial Highway
This County does not tolerate speeding of any kind. Make sure you know the posted speed especially on the main highway. Plenty of locations for the local and state police to hide. This place is one of the top ten speed traps in the US.
Providence Road Route 636
Local officers sit in the parking lot between Providence church and the graveyard. Not much tolerance.
