County Sheriffs sit on the side of the road running front and rear radar just as you turn off Rt 30 onto Herring Creek. The speed limit is 40mph. However many unsafe drivers feel it’s necessary to cruise at 55mph since the road has recently been widened and straightened.

State Route 600 near US Highway 360

Beware heading towards Hwy. 360 on Rt. 600 approaching Aylett. Speed limit drops from 45 to 35 then 25 within a short distance. State police and county deputies sit at lawyer’s office driveway and bust speeders.

King William county deputies use stationary and moving radar on this stretch of Rt. 30 , near Central Garage. Most people go 55 plus through this area.
