Louisa, Virginia Speed Traps

An officer will sit in a parking lot close to where the speed limit changes from city to rural.

The trooper sits on the entrance ramp to 64 eastbound from Rt 522. He sits near the end of the ramp in a marked car on the left shoulder tucked nicely into the bushes. You will not see him until he is pulling you over. Many drivers before passing this onramp speed up and get in the left lane to avoid merging traffic.
