Lynchburg, Virginia Speed Traps

During 2012 there were 7-10 deaths on this road in Lynchburg & Campbell co.
2-3 were DUI & high speeds so now the VSP,Campbell co Sheriffs dept. & Lynchburg City have been conducting wolf-pack speed traps during the day & nite

they like to sit at the side of building where you cant see them till its to late. and from there they can get you both ways

The speed limit drops to 25 off of Fort, but most of Memorial is 35. I just got a ticket- said he followed me all the way down from the head of Memorial but didn’t pull me over until well on Langhorne. Most people don’t know it is only 25 through here. I don’t know how I could have been doing 43 in a 25- all the other cars were going the same speed as me, and I didn’t feel I was going fast. He must have been sitting and waiting somewhere

Speed limit goes from 65 to 45 and then back up to 55. Police sit in church parking lot heading west just past red light at Wildwood across from the 7-11.

Once on 29th North leaving Lynchburg and into Amherst county area, there is a construction zone where speed drops from 60 to 45. They are in maked and unmarked cars and that zone is a gold mine for them though you rarely see constrcution workers there.
