Lyndhurst, Virginia Speed Traps

Speed limit drops from 45 to 35 mph. Deputies sit in the church parking lot near the store. Usual pull off spot is the post office or Wilson Vol. Fire Department.

Located about 1.5 miles north of Sherando grocery. Monitored by State Police cruiser (mostly during the weekend). The trooper parks at the end of what is basically an unpaved driveway. I assume that the fact that it leads to more than one residence is the justification they use for treating it as public property. However, it is technically not a road (no name or postal service), but a right-of-way that is shared by multiple property owners.
