Purcellville, Virginia Speed Traps

Troopers always parked on the emergency vehicle turn arounds on Route 7 between Purcellville and Roundhill.

Cops hide in the short entrance to the pumping station to catch northbound and southbound traffic on Hatcher Ave.

Cops hide with all lights out at this residential entrance intersection with Rt. 611 (Purcellville Road).

Cops will sit on the eastbound shoulder of Hurst Road, waiting to catch people exceeding the 45mph speed limit. They will also sit on the side of new firehouse waiting for the eastbounders to speed by (you cannot see them until you have passed the firehouse/too late).

Come into town from the west, the speed limit drops from 45 to 35 to 25–at Anthony’s. Watch out!
