Staunton, Virginia Speed Traps

The entire city is a trap! Literally there is a 50% chance that any set of headlights you may encounter at night will be an officer. And I’ve noticed a definite bias it being that if you aren’t obviously on in your years they will pull you over. Everytime I see one it is a younger person they have…I have personally been both alomst run off the road or nearly hit by older folks with not a cop in site. BUT…I have been pulled over several times for things that do not cause a DIRECT DANGER to any other motorists. I’m 21. If you’re under 50 and it is past 9pm…WATCH OUT!

State trooper likes to sit on the right hand side of I-81 half on shoulder, half on the grass. This guy nailed me for 77 in a 65 at 3:00 in the morning. I thought first time being pulled over, he might cut me some slack? Nope. These guys will get ya for 10 over, watch out. And dont bother pleading in augusta county courthouse, your’re better off just paying your ticket and getting on with your life.
