Vinton, Virginia Speed Traps

Sometimes the police will park their car near Southern States Mill on Walnut Ave. It’s usually in westbound lane just across a low water bridge and hidden some by trees. This area has recently been changed from 35 mph to 25 mph.

Look if you ever go into Vinton driving on Hardy Road watch out for speed traps with the Roanoke County Police at the edges of the county. Once you get to where the speed limit drops to 35 because you just entered Vinton town limits. Be on the look out for Vinton Police sitting near a pure station, Both enterances to the W.E. Cundiff School and the Church Parking lot adjacent to the school.
