Arlington, Washington Speed Traps
Highway 9 near 132nd St
State Patrol working this area as a “money machine” for State and City coffers. I was busted going 60 in a 55 with officer traveling the opposite direction.
236th St NE & I- 5 (Overpass Exit 210)
Interstate 5. State Patrol marked cruiser often sits behind the North guardrail on the overpass of Exit 210. He is difficult to see as 2/3 of his car is blocked by the guardrail. This allows him to catch speeders going north & south. Also watch out for the unmarked SUV’s & small sedans that are often cruising between Everett & Mt. Vernon.
172nd Street near Gleneagle Boulevard
Police sit just over the brow of the hill on the north side of the road where it has been widened for development. Not all of the road is that wide so it is a good place to hide.
Interstate 5 near Exit Number 210
WSP sit on #210 overhead off ramp zapping cars going SB on I5
I-5 South, Mile post 213
Line of officers looks like a taxi stand. Not sure if its just and end of the month thing or if it’s every weekend. Officers located in the median by the fast lane. They have the district judge in the car with them for some reason.
