Burlington, Washington Speed Traps

Highway 20 eastbound, about 200 yards past the Avon-Allen intersection, there is a slight curve to the right on Hwy 20. Just past the guardrail there is a driveway for a power substation. WSP is now parking in that driveway and laying in wait. I usually see a patrol car there between 0600 and 0630 several times a week.

Burlington Blvd. Turns into SR #20 @ Rio Vista Northbound.
Fruitstand on right side,speed limit turns from 35MPH to 30MPH. Patrol sits on both sides of SR#20 just over tracks out of sight.

A state patrol truck with Lidar setup will shoot up the freeway northbound from the onramp. 3-5 miles up the road a normal WSP cruiser will pull over the hapless victims from "a few miles back". The district court judge in this jurisdiction has zero leniency.
