Kitsap County Sheriff’s unmarked maroon colored car. Or if they are head back toward Port Orchard, they clock you, going the opposite direction. Enforcement has been very high for the last month or so.

NW Clear Creek Road near Mountain View Road
The County Sherrif Officers will sit at the Old Marine Gate entrance to Sub-base Bangor and monitor speeds via radar. Clear Creek Rd from the new interchange to the Union 76 station (about a 4 miles stretch) is 50mph. Between Mountain View Rd and just up to Orweiler, it drops to 35mph then goes back up to 50mph from there on out. This place is especially ‘hot’ on holidays and during the spring/summer months.

State Route 16 near Burley-Olalla Crossing
The speed slows to 50 mph through this crossing. The cops sit off to the side of the road. This area will go to 40 mph this summer for constrution to make this crossing safer.
