Moses Lake, Washington Speed Traps
State Highway 28 near Road W
A local sheriff has turned around and followed me twice while I was headed North on Road W. I drive this road at exactly the same time each evening and have since witnessed this patrolman turning around rapidly and following two different cars right where Road W meets Hwy. 28. He did not pull me over or the other cars that I could tell but the intimidation was clear.

35 mph and 20 mph school zone … watch for blinking light and drop speed immediately to 20 mph. Moses Lake police will stop out of state drivers .. as they do not think we know the Washington school zone speed. One officer that cited me after following me the entire school zone .. was surprised that I knew the speed for the zone .. but wrote me up .. did not have to put down any speed on the ticket, and after doing so .. told me next time have a Washington license. In fact, out of state vehicles … should be extra careful in Moses Lake .. the mph changes rapidly on the streets, sometimes with little warning. I have been in this town for a little over 2 years …and I have 2 tickets for ridiculous citations. I wish the public had a camera in their vehicles … then the officer could not stretch the truth. Extremely disappointed in Moses Lake police .. I have traveled entire North America .. and I consider this police department to prey on out of state vehicles.
