North Seattle, Washington Speed Traps

If you are driving I-5 watch for the WSP that hide on the North side of the 145 st bridge. This is a very common speed trap the speed limit is 60 Mph and you will get a ticket here if you exceed 63-65. They usually get you going North bound but I have frequently seen WSP hiding on the 145th on ramp heading south.

Motor cycle officers hide off of 3Rd. Avenue N.W.at 113Th.place (the bottom of the hill) on 3Rd.Avenue N.W. and catch you as you come down the hill. The speed posted is 30M.P.H. which is an approiate speed, but your speed usually increases as you go down the steep hill and they will nail you, be careful and ride your breaks going down either northbound or southbound……
