Ocean Shores, Washington Speed Traps

State Patrol sits on the south side of the road in a small driveway, looks for outdated tabs, no turn signals or head lights, tail lights out and speeding coming up to the stop sign.

WSP drive this route frequently. They don’t hide, they just pace you or get you going in the opposite direction. I have seen many people ticketed on this stretch of road that goes from Hoquiam to Ocean Shores. The speed limit is 55, not 60. They will pull you over doing 60 here. This is a very seriously depressed area desperate for revenue.

This is at the Elementary School Zone (20 MPH)
It’s a valid zone and necessary but they don’t give any warnings.
